John Kerns, managing partner, brings a wealth of knowledge in organizational development and a good understanding
from the client perspective having served in senior level capacities in both private and publicly held companies.
He started his career with American Hospital Supply (now Baxter Healthcare) where he held positions in sales, sales management
and operations throughout his six year tenure.
Subsequently, John joined PepsiCo where he held several management
positions before assuming responsibilities as Vice President, leading a business unit with $250 million in revenues and
an organization of over 500 people.
He then served as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for a privately
held international publishing company which developed and marketed stationery items to all major retailers. During that
time, the company's strategy was to double its size and position it as an acquisition candidate which was successfully completed
in three years.
John started his own company which manufacured and distributed consumer products nationally.
The company was a complete startup, from product development to building the infrastructure to business development.
The company quickly became a success and was acquired by a much larger European company.
These experiences
have enabled him to better understand and serve his clients' needs.
